Well, I really appreciate the workaround proposed by Igor, great job, many thanks! At least it has made sound to work more predictable. However, I believe the issue is broader than just playing with the "audio" group. Since it affects not 100% of users and some of them are used to hear sound without any problems regardless of logged in users. It should be a clear root cause stated by developers re: why this has happened.
