How is it possible that so critical bug is still not solved, after over two years? It's not even assigned to anyone! And off course not marked as citical! In such moments, I think opensource sucks. Sorry for my honesty, but this is true. I really like Ubuntu, but I cannot recommend it to any of my not-linux-guru friends, because WiFi simply doesn't work. Doesn't is critical bug???
My laptop: HP Compaq nx7300, Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG, Ubuntu 10.04 For me the only solution that works is: sudo apt-get remove network-manager sudo apt-get install wicd -- [Jaunty] Intel wireless 3945ABG is unstable and disconnects frequently https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/348204 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
