Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xorg
clicking via tap or hardware-button only works occasionally, often the
mouse will hang in a pressed-state.
Loading module synaptics_i2c got rid of this behaviour temporarily, but
now the issue is back, even though synaptics_i2c is still loaded.
Several days before the issue came up, I installed the package
'gpointing-device-properties' and enabled two-finger- and circular
scroll, which did not work for me - the touchpad just kept working as
before for some days, until this came up.
Disabling the above features and uninstalling gpointing-device-
properties has not helped.
After reinstalling, gpointing-device-properties does not list the
touchpad any more.
Any clues?
:)
Richard
