On upgrade to Lucid, grub2 was NOT installed for me; not sure if it
should have been.

Therefore, I am still experiencing this bug in Lucid. I resolved it by
backing up my menu.lst (renaming it to menu.lst.backup), and then
running update-grub. New menu.lst had correct entries. (If you copy
menu.lst instead of renaming it, make sure you delete the original and
keep the copyl for this to work!)

Also, on upgrading to kernel 2.6.32-22-generic through update-manager, I
was NOT given the option of keeping the original or installing the
package maintainer's version. Therefore, it is possible that this issue
was not caused by update-grub on my system; however, my experiences were
identical to those above when updating menu.lst through update-grub.

Hope that all makes sense and is of some use.
