Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnash
Sometimes all the RAM and swap gets filled up and the computer slows
down until it's almost dead. With a lot of paitience I can wait for
<ctrl> + <alt> + <F1> to take effect and give a commandline. Even
logging in here takes a lot of time. I then run top and wait a while,
sooner or later gnash shows up. Nothing is really using the CPU but
gnash is using a lot of memory and something's constantly working with
the hard drive.
If I kill all instances of gnash (or at least all that uses a lot of
memory) the hysteric use of the hard drive stops and everything seems to
return to normal.
** Affects: gnash (Ubuntu)
