Printing now works using both Epson Stylus S20 - CUPS+Gutenprint (OpenPrinting LSB 3.2) v5.2.4 Simplified and Epson Stylus S20 Foomatic/gutenprint-ijs.5.2 drivers so I guess it will work for all the other options. Many thanks for your help, now all I have to do is work out what it all means.
