Public bug reported:

Please sync libmei 1.0.1-6.1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
This package was diverted to fix python installation error FTBFS, the same
patch was applied to new debian package version.

See: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libmei/+bug/583731

Thanks!
