I just had this happen two different times when trying to 'safely
remove' my Barnes and Noble Nook eReader.

"Error detaching: helper exited with exit code 1: Detaching device /dev/sdc
USB device: /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.7/usb2/2-1)
SYNCHRONIZE CACHE: OK
STOP UNIT: FAILED: No such file or directory"

I have not had any problems with my Sansa Fuze media player or my Lexar
JumpDrive USB drive.
