i expected ubuntu to start teh download manager so i could download software
instead it displayed the error and kicked me out
this is the error mesage i recieve when trying to start update manager.
"Could not initialize the package information
An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package
information.
Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include
the following error message:
'E:Type 'wget' is not known on line 46 in source list
/etc/apt/sources.list, E:The list of sources could not be read"
