Now with Fribidi 0.19.2 in Ubuntu , I think that fixing this issue is a matter of doing the following: 1. Passing Arabic string through the Fribidi program during package build time like we did in LP: #212491 (that should be very easy) 2. making sure all Arabic fonts including shaped ones are exported to the font file (which I'm not sure regarding the way this should be implemented).
