Hi
Most of the eclipse mentions this in their extended description since
Lucid...
eclipse-platform:
"This package is the base for all eclipse plug-ins. Please note that many
plugins will fail to install if you don't have the eclipse-pde package
installed."
eclipse-jdt, eclipse-pde:
"Please note that many plugins will fail to install if you don't have the
eclipse-pde package installed."
eclipse:
"This package provides the whole Eclipse SDK, along with the Java Development
Tools (JDT) and the Plugin Development Environment (PDE). Please note that
many plugins will fail to install if you don't have the eclipse-pde package
installed."
You have not attached any data about which version you use; are you
using eclipse from Karmic, Lucid or Maverick?
