Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: light-themes

When creating extra tabs in GNOME Terminal, the window's look
changes in several ways. Obviously the tab bar gets added and the
window height increases, but also some other things change:

  - A border is added around the terminal view.
  - Consequently, the window becomes a few pixels wider.

While we're at it, another annoyance:

  - The tab bar has a gray background, which does not look nice in
    combination with the window title.

These three things make using the tabbing feature of Terminal
less satisfying than it could be.

The attachment contains screenshots of the current situation, and
a mockup with potential improvements.

I'm currently using light-themes 0.1.6.6~ppa6 in Maverick, but
also noticed this in Lucid's versions. The screenshots show the
Radiance theme, but Ambiance's behaviour is exactly the same.

** Affects: light-themes (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
