I'm sorry it took a while to get back to you on this. :-o Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a presentation in OpenOffice.org Presentation/Impress. 2. Write in dummy text. 3. Apply a slide transition (it doesn't matter if it's to all slides or just one). 4. Add custom animations to dummy text. That is what causes it to crash for me, but here's the kicker: it doesn't seem to do it after a consistent amount of animations added. It could happen after two, three, nine, whatever. Transitions tested: Wipe Down, Wheel Clockwise, 2 Spokes, and Wheel Clockwise 1 Spoke Custom Animations tested: Venetian Blinds and Wedge. Anyway, I tried it on the LiveCD and it didn't happen (I applied a total of 18 animations with no crashing, so empirically it shouldn't happen). But, back on my HDD install, after using "mv. openoffice.org/ .openoffice.org-old/", it still happened. If you need anymore information, just let me know, and hopefully I'll get back to you a little quicker. ;o) -- OpenOffice.org Impress/Presentation crashes when adding custom animations https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/584810 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
