I've been having the same issues with the latest Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 ever
since installing it.
I go to suspend and in 90% of the time, it'd fail to suspend and goes to
the locked screen nearly instantly, a few times Ubuntu has hanged when
trying to suspend.
10% of the time, it'd work fine though, so my guess is that may be a
buggy ACPI.
Let me know if you need any more details or if there are any commands
you need me to run as I'd like to get this problem fixed.
