Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: indicator-applet

This bug is 100% reproducible.

1) click on an indicator-applet icon (such as the volume one). The menu is now
open
2) move the mouse over the nm-applet (which is in the notification area) icon
3) wait until the popup appears (this is the most difficult thing to trigger,
sometimes the popup won't appear, so you have to click on the icon and retry
from step 1)
4) now click on some part of the screen

RESULT: the indicator applet closes the menu, the nm-applet popup remains there
EXPECTED: also the popup should go away
