Public bug reported:
When I plug an external screen to my notebook an switch off the notebook screen
in the gnome-display-properties, it should be possible to close the notebook
without affecting the external screen. So deactivating the power management
option automatically.
This is the workaround:
gconftool-2 --set /apps/gnome-power-manager/buttons/lid_ac --type string
"nothing"
