I know that this is an Ubuntu site, but I'm having a similar problem. I first noticed the problem described in the opening post when I grabbed an email address from my Exchange Server address book. It inserted an address like the following [email protected] The email with this address got stuck in the local Outbox. At our site we have a variety of addresses mapped to each account and so I manually entered one of these variants: [email protected] The message with this address was sent immediately. As a final test, I sent another test message where I manually entered [email protected]. This third message got stuck.
