@ Jari Could you be more specific about which directory you are talking about? I tried clearing out ~/.cache/gwibber and also ~/.gconf/apps/gwibber and none of these solved my problem.
@Omar I cannot provide a screenshot for you because now I am back to square one where I cannot even add my Facebook account. Jari's description above in post #13 is very accurate; this is exactly what happens for me. I don't understand how gwibber was working normally, but then since last weekend it has demolished itself.
