I'm not 100% clear on why you need to raise a new one? the bug still exists this should not have been expired. I still have the exact same laptop with the same problem, leave this bug open until it is either fixed or the hardware doesn't exist anymore, its a pain to have to follow multiple reports of the exact same unresolved problem.
