I had installed the .deb... linux-headers-2.6.34-020634_2.6.34-020634_all.deb ...but not the very similarly named... linux-headers-2.6.34-020634-generic_2.6.34-020634_i386.deb
...from the http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.34-lucid/ repository. It seems this second .deb is important to providing the relevant sources. During the install phase of the second headers .deb, it automatically rebuilt the vboxdrv module along with many others. In other news, sadly the broadcom wireless module failed to rebuild, reporting bcmwl (5.10.91.9+bdcom)... bcmwl (5.10.91.9+bdcom): Installing module........(bad exit status: 10) Build failed. Installation skipped. -- linux-source-2.6.34 is empty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/583105 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
