I installed proprietary driver for my ati radeon x1550 through the software
center. and when i started aticonfig i get "NO supported adapters". when i
restarted the computer the splash displays in the right size i thought the
driver is working. when i tried to activate desktop effects i got "desktop
effects could not start..." when i typed glxinfo i got segmentation fault:
