This is odd; I can't see from the code why this would be happening.
Could you start the installer with 'ubiquity --debug' from a Konsole
window, reproduce this problem, and attach /var/log/installer/debug,
/var/log/syslog, and /var/log/partman to this bug, following the
directions in http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs?
