The error was not caused by trying to install that package directly or
by canceling the install. The only command I typed at the time was the
"sudo apt-get install eclipse" and that was the result. I did not cancel
the install as suggested by "interrupted by the user".

I tried performing this command again on a fresh install of 9.04 and was
unable to reproduce the issue. It must have either been fixed since
being reported or does not happen often, such as a race condition in the
installer script. It is probably moot at this point. Thank you.
