Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: lxdm
I try to install Lubuntu 10.04 using the live CD. It starts well, and I
can see the dots indicating the loading process. Then, before X starts,
I get a blank (black) screen, the computer is completely frozen and I
need to do a hard shutdown (CAPS LOCK does not change the lights on the
keyboard, CTRL-ALT-F1 and CTRL-ALT-DEL have no effect).
The computer is a Acer Travelmate 291 LCi laptop (centrino 1.4GHz, 512
Mo of RAM)
Xubuntu 10.4 worked well on this laptop
Crunchbang 9.04 live CD worked well also
But I have exactly the same bug when I try to run the Linux Mint 9 LXDE
live CD!
PS: I hope I filled the bug in the right place... sorry if not
