Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

I used sudo updadate-manager -c -d to upgrade from edgy to feisty

Once the files have been downloaded, the installation started and
aborted telling me to send a bug report with var/log/dist-upgrade (how
do i upload a file here?)

After that i was able to restart ubuntu edgy without further
manipulation.

I typed again sudo update-manager -c -d and it said "warning: could not
initiate dbus" and run telling me that there where 935 updates and that
it would be a good idea to do a "distribution upgrade".

I selected the "distribution upgrade" option but it returned the error:
"Could not install 'apache2-common'".

** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
