Confirmed on a "windtunnel" G4 (dual 1.42 Ghz). As in the example above, I can
manually poll with:
udisks --poll-for-media /dev/<devicename>
and the media is immediately recognized. Oddly, I only have problems with the
internal ATAPI Pioneer DVR-105 DVD/CD/RW. If I plug in an external USB
DVD/CD/RW drive and place media in the drive, it automatically polls the media
and works fine.
