Hi,
I have a the following type of web cam:
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 174f:6a51 Syntek 2.0MPixel Web Cam - Asus Z96J, Z96S,
S96S
The solution on this bug DID solve the problem, the web cam now works
with Skype.
Note that this bug is marked as duplicate of bug #269123 however the
suggestion posted on that bug (post by dpanario wrote on 2010-06-19)
did not work for me. Although it's possible there were some implied
steps I missed due due to my newbie status.
