This is probably either a defect in the battery manufacturing ( it was
programmed wrong ) or documentation. Is the remaining run time estimate
off by a factor of two as well, or is it fairly accurate? If you
discharge the battery, what is the charge rate shown, and how long does
it take to fully charge?
