Since this also occurs in openSUSE it looks like this bug is upstream in Gnome. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this? So far we know: - It occurs in the latest Ubuntu sporadically (for users with dual monitor systems) - It occurs in openSUSE
Since it doesn't occur all the time, I would guess it is due to some race condition in the Gnome startup sequence. Any thoughts?
