Binary package hint: nautilus
I choose not to use metacity as my window manager due to its ugliness
and lack of customisability. Instead, I use kwin.
However, because I have configured the system to use kwin on boot rather
than nautilus nautilus does not know how many desktops to appear on, and
appears only on the first of the four I have and use. This is a severe
pain.
Could nautilus be fixed to find out the number of desktops through some
other method which does not rely on the window manager?
