Hi Teej, thanks a lot for providing the debug info! Based on the
command line output you provided I can see that this is a duplicate of
bug 596443, so I'll mark it as such. The good news is that this bug has
been fixed and the fix will be available in the next development release
of Software Center which will be soon (at the latest by maverick alpha
2, scheduled for July 1st).
In the meantime, a workaround for this bug is to do one of the
following:
- Choose a category from the Departments panel and do the search from within
the category view.
OR
- Expand the "Get Software" item in the left panel and choose "Provided by
Ubuntu" (or other child item if desired), and do the search from there.
