Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: thunderbird
When replying to a message, Thunderbird sometimes opens the editor for
HTML messages rather than for plain text - even though I have unchecked
"new messages as HTML" in the account configuration.
When creating a new message, the plain text editor is correctly opened.
Apparently, this problem somehow depends on the message I try to reply
to; for the same message, the same editor mode is always used. It does
not appear to depend on whether the sender is in the Address Book or
not, as my Address Book is empty and I have disabled collection of
sender addresses.
Also, I have not been able to establish a pattern between this problem
and the format of the message I try to reply to.
As a workaround, I can shift-click reply, but that is annoyning in the
long run.
