I had bound all of /dev/ already. I take it /dev/ptmx/ has to be specifically bound, then?
I found a workaround regardless. I installed mdadm, ignored the postfix error, then on restart after installing 10.04 I removed postfix (apt-get remove --purge postfix) and reinstalled it (apt-get install postfix). No more errors. ** Changed in: postfix (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Committed -- package postfix 2.7.0-1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 75 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/597510 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
