Public bug reported: can't install nvidia drivers from jockey nor manually; it used to work, however I switched for some time to my integrated radeon hd4200+fglrx, now I'm back on nvidia, prior to installing nvidia drivers I purged fglrx, reinstalled libgl1-* and removed xorg.conf .
I'm running 2.6.32-22-generic-pae , kernel headers are in-place, I even purged & reinstalled them to be safe.
