Public bug reported: I have ubuntu installed on hda6 (JFS) and free space at hda9 (JFS)
Today I did re-partitioned hda9 to hda9 (EXT3) and hda10 (EXT3), now I can't boot into ubuntu because it think hda9 is JFS and dump me into root# Expected action is to update fstab and continues booting, I don't expect grandma to edit /etc/fstab to fix it Thanks ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- ubuntu doesn't start after re-partition https://launchpad.net/bugs/55358 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
