Public bug reported:

I have ubuntu installed on hda6 (JFS) and free space at hda9 (JFS)

Today I did re-partitioned hda9 to hda9 (EXT3) and hda10 (EXT3), now I
can't boot into ubuntu because it think hda9 is JFS and dump me into
root#

Expected action is to update fstab and continues booting, I don't expect
grandma to edit /etc/fstab to fix it
