Ah... I see what you mean. There is one payment path that is used by all
stores around the world. To people in the US (and perhaps other
regions), the extra credit card fields might look a little odd. There's
a current bug open (bug #527961) about this and we're working with
7digital to figure out how to reduce the confusion (7digital hosts the
payment process). Also, 7digital is a UK company so that's probably why
fields are defaulting to the UK.

Eventually, we will transition most of the music store processes to a
more customized user interface built by the Ubuntu One team. I'm
currently planning that process. When this is complete, we will have
much greater control and be able to implement tighter integration with
the desktop (like locale settings). I'm going to mark this as a wishlist
item to better represent locale dessktop settings.

Today, though, customers like you can purchase music by leaving some of
the credit card fields blank (like start date) or login to PayPal with
your standard credentials to be routed to the correct locale.
