Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: language-selector

- On a fresh Ubuntu Lucid install with Gnome desktop only, installed in
FRENCH

- First attempt at starting language selector display a message that
"Language support is not completely installed, etc".

- System then wants to install 74 (!!!) packages among which most of KDE
including specific kubuntu things and their own dependancies (i.e. MySQL
server...)

I don't need and don't want KDE on my system just for installing
language support.

Thats' just madness...
