I have Dell Precision M2400 laptop. The graphics card is NVIDIA® Quadro FX 370M.
I upgraded to Ubuntu 10.4 and removed all nvidia-* packages soon after. I now have xserver-xorg-video-nouveau and libdrm-nouveau only. Suspend puts the laptop to sleep. Pressing the power button starts resuming and immediately gets into a state where the screen is fully lit (dark blue color) and flashing continuously. The WiFi indicator flashes, the Caps Lock indicator does not come on when I press Caps Lock. Suspend wasn't working in Ubuntu 9.10 for me either although I can't recall the actual symptoms. It just never worked and I wasn't trying to use it. With the announced improvements I decided to try again in 10.4. -- Can't resume after hibernate or suspend (nouveau and nvidia-current) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/574573 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
