I have the same experience. I use Ubuntu 10.4 coming from 8.04 -> 8.10 -> 9.04 -> 9.10 -> 10.4
It started when I inserted and extracted a wifi pcmcia card while the computer was running. At the next reboot I had the message. I found here http://forum.openvz.org/index.php?t=...untu#msg_39012 something that make me think that the package udev is the culprit. Udev adds and removes dinamically devices in the /dev directory, when they are inserted and removed. These are personal observations. Now, what to do ? -- On boot keeps trying to mount "UDEVD-WORK..../dev/null" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/575333 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
