two things: 1) I'm experiencing the same issue, except with XP, also on amd64. Lucid Lynx on sda1, XP on sdb1. Everything detects just fine in the os_prober of grub2. Furthermore, the 'boot info script' detects no anomalies. Both disks can be mounted without problems and all re boot-file for XP are present as far as I know. So currently I'm at a loss.
2) in the bug-report above, shouldn't "set root=(hd1,0)" be "set root=(hd1,1)", as Grub2 counts the partitions starting from 1, not 0. -- GRUB2 does not boot windows7 when installed in a different hard drive https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/574732 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
