Hi all i didn't try the "echo "1" > /sys/bus/scsi/devices/0:0:0:0/timeout" but
i tried to search why it was freezing and i saw somewhere (maybe is it stupid?)
that it was due to the ata_piix driver which control both SATA and PATA. From
this i thought that i could try to add a boot option like "noata_piix". I
thought that it wouldn't boot but it booted...
Sadly it was still freezing. But i tried with a cd in the drive, i'm running
for 20hours now and no freeze... What's your method to detect freeze you also
use dmesg?
I'm running ubuntu feisty beta with the generic kernel 2.6.20-12-generic and
with Acer AWSMI (i think).
