I started this (new) bug report because I thought the problem I was
facing was different from that reported by other users, such as the one
reported by Paul Sladen, i.e. Bug #429841.
I now reply to this thread just to report my latest findings and hence
verify that the bug I had was in fact identical to Bug #429841.
Actually, I'm not 100% but fairly certain of what I just said because I
only realised the Flashplugin-nonfree is actually working on all my
three web browsers under Lucid sometime after I reported the bug. If my
guess is correct, I think it was not working before my report was caused
by the NOScript plugin which I had forgotten about at the time.
After all, the solution suggested by Emanuel Greisen in the above bug
report has solved my problem without me realising it.
