1) This has been fixed with the following:
* debian/post{inst,rm}:
- Invoke adduser to create a system user/group (Closes: #487966).
2) I don't know why xml-parser-dev has been included in B-D, it's not needed.
3) python-gnome2 is not required, python-gconf and the other Python
dependencies are indeed needed.
