Peter, I think this is a valid bug for the default cross-compiler
library search path, could you include the exact version of binutils and
gcc which you use for cross-compilation?
However, the reason you're failing to cross-compile this particular
package with xdeb is due to a missing -ldl in the ncurses build rules;
this should be addressed as well, I've opened another task in this bug
against ncurses to track this. Would you take care of this?
