This bug just started affecting me a few days ago. Sometimes it starts
disabled, and sometimes it doesn't start at all. Instead of having the
nm-applet icon in the indicator tray I get a white square and it doesn't
work. In order to get it working I have to manually stop the nm-applet
and restart it via the terminal:
killall nm-applet
nm-applet
