Binary package hint: netbook-launcher
when the launcher is run it builds up and displays briefly and crashes with
segmentation fault .
it appears to be a problem with the items to be displayed ... meaning the
structure build for displaying probably is faulty.
it happens on BOTH NBL-EFL and NBL-3D. so it probably is not a problem with
the displaying (OGL)
it works under other users ... like root for instance (sudo netbook-launcher)
so it appears to be an unhandled exception or similar.
NBL worked in the past however the packages added should not have directly
affected the functioning of NBL (though they have added menu items)
the system is lucid lynx 10.04 LTS
NBL is 1:2.1.18-0ubuntu2
the user has several menu items though deleting did not solve the problem
ltrace reports
launcher_folder_bookmarks_get_bookmarks(?,1,0,x,y ) to be unfinished a
previous g_file_test(??,1,0,x,y)
with corresponding arguments(x and y) resulted 0 (probably false)
