Could you please try installing the package linux-alsa-driver-
modules-2.6.32-22-generic from the Ubuntu Audio Dev PPA,
http://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-audio-dev/+archive, and reboot yoru system?
Once rebooted, please check to see whether you still have the headphone
switching problem, and the dockaudio problem.
