Public bug reported: Binary package hint: smartmontools
Please sync smartmontools 5.39.1 from Debian testing main, since one key difference is the ability to use ATA pass-through on various USB to SATA bridges. Without this, no disks behind USB bridges can be queried for SMART health etc. The delta between Ubuntu smartmontools 5.38 is not significant.
