I use an Asus 1000 eeepc, with an Acer al1511 screen attached as a twin-head to
get extra width. The Asus, like many laptops and netbooks, uses Fn-F8 to
switch between several modes.
1. Just netbook screen - Unity works fine.
2. Just Acer (outboard) screen - fails to renegotiate window size properly.
I've lost the left 30 mm....
3. Twin-head mode, extra width - half-works. The two screens have different
images on them, but they flash on and off, at about 2 second period. The
desktop background is stable, but the windows disappear and re-appear every two
seconds.
4. Twin-head mode, duplicated screens - works fine.

So I'm better than 60% satisfied.

Please keep going - I think UNITY looks fab so far.
