This is happening to me too. Empathy-gabble and Empathy-butterfly
dueling to become the owner of my processor cycles. It happened this
time after a resume from suspend state. I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 upgraded
to the date.

Once I kill the process Empathy-butterfly and let it restart, asking
Empathy to reconnect the accounts, I have no long the problem.

Can I contribute with some additional info?
